การตั้งค่า Codex App

ใช้ settings panel เพื่อปรับพฤติกรรมของ Codex App, วิธีเปิดไฟล์ และการเชื่อมต่อกับ tools เปิด Settings จาก app menu หรือกด Cmd+,

General

เลือกที่เปิดไฟล์, จำนวน command output ที่แสดงใน threads และตำแหน่งที่ terminal tabs เปิดโดยค่าเริ่มต้น คุณยังสามารถกำหนดให้ต้องใช้ Cmd+Enter สำหรับ multiline prompts หรือป้องกันไม่ให้สลีปขณะ thread รัน

Profile

ใช้ Profile เพื่อรีวิว activity insights, lifetime tokens, peak tokens, streaks, longest task และ token activity คุณยังอัปเดต profile details เช่น รูปภาพ, display name และ username และบันทึก profile card พร้อม usage highlights ได้

ผู้ใช้ที่มีสิทธิ์ยังสามารถส่ง Codex invitations จาก profile menu ได้

Keyboard shortcuts

เปิด Keyboard Shortcuts เพื่อรีวิว commands, เปลี่ยน bindings หรือ reset shortcuts ที่กำหนดเองกลับเป็นค่าเริ่มต้น ใช้ search field ค้นหา shortcuts ตามชื่อ command หรือสลับเป็น keystroke search และกด key combination เพื่อหา command ที่ใช้

Notifications

เลือกเมื่อ turn completion notifications ปรากฏ และว่าแอปควร prompt ขอ notification permissions หรือไม่

Agent configuration

Codex agents ใน app รับ configuration เดียวกับ IDE และ CLI extension ใช้ in-app controls สำหรับ settings ทั่วไป หรือแก้ไข config.toml สำหรับตัวเลือกขั้นสูง

Appearance

ใน Settings คุณสามารถเปลี่ยนรูปลักษณ์ Codex App โดยเลือก base theme, ปรับ accent, background และ foreground colors และเปลี่ยน UI และ code fonts คุณยังแชร์ custom theme กับเพื่อนได้

Codex pets

Codex pets เป็น animated companions ที่เป็นตัวเลือกสำหรับแอป ไปที่ Settings > Appearance > Pets เพื่อเลือก built-in pet หรือ refresh custom pets

พิมพ์ /pet ใน composer หรือกด Cmd+K / Ctrl+K แล้วรัน Wake Pet หรือ Tuck Away Pet เพื่อ toggle floating overlay

Pet overlay แสดง active thread, สถานะของ Codex (รัน, รอ input หรือพร้อม review) และ progress prompt สั้นๆ

สร้าง pet ของตัวเองโดยติดตั้ง skill hatch-pet:

$skill-installer hatch-pet

จากนั้น reload skills แล้วขอ skill สร้าง pet:

$hatch-pet create a new pet inspired by my recent projects

Git

ใช้ Git settings เพื่อกำหนดมาตรฐาน branch naming และเลือกว่า Codex จะใช้ force pushes หรือไม่

คุณยังตั้งค่า prompts ที่ Codex ใช้สร้าง commit messages และ PR descriptions ได้

Integrations & MCP

เชื่อมต่อ external tools ผ่าน MCP (Model Context Protocol) เปิดใช้ recommended servers หรือเพิ่มของตัวเอง หาก server ต้องการ OAuth แอปจะเริ่ม auth flow

Settings เหล่านี้ยังใช้กับ Codex CLI และ IDE extension เพราะ MCP configuration อยู่ใน config.toml

Browser

ใช้ settings เหล่านี้เพื่อติดตั้งหรือเปิดใช้ Browser plugin, ตั้งค่า Codex Chrome extension และจัดการเว็บไซต์ที่ allow และ block

ใต้ Developer mode เปิด "Enable full CDP access" เพื่อให้ Codex ใช้ Chrome DevTools Protocol สำหรับ performance profiling และ browser debugging ขั้นสูง

Computer Use

ตรวจสอบ Computer Use settings เพื่อรีวิว desktop-app access และ preferences ที่เกี่ยวข้องหลัง setup บน macOS ให้ revoke system-level access โดยอัปเดต Screen Recording หรือ Accessibility permissions ใน macOS Privacy & Security settings

Personalization

เลือก Friendly, Pragmatic หรือ None เป็น default personality ใช้ None เพื่อปิด personality instructions คุณยังเพิ่ม custom instructions ได้ การแก้ไข custom instructions จะอัปเดต personal instructions ใน AGENTS.md

Context-aware suggestions

ใช้ context-aware suggestions เพื่อแสดง follow-ups และงานที่อาจต้องการ resume เมื่อเริ่มหรือกลับมาที่ Codex

Memories

เปิดใช้ Memories (หากพร้อมใช้งาน) เพื่อให้ Codex นำ context ที่มีประโยชน์จาก threads ที่ผ่านมาไปใช้ในงานอนาคต

Archived threads

ส่วน Archived threads แสดง chats ที่ archive ไว้พร้อมวันที่และ project context ใช้ Unarchive เพื่อ restore thread
