คืออะไร​

Amazon Redshift คือ cloud data warehouse แบบ fully managed ที่ออกแบบสำหรับ analytical queries ขนาดใหญ่ในระดับ petabyte บริการนี้ใช้ columnar storage และ massively parallel processing (MPP) ทำให้ query ข้อมูลได้เร็วกว่า traditional databases มาก รองรับ SQL มาตรฐาน สามารถ query ข้อมูลใน S3 ผ่าน Redshift Spectrum โดยไม่ต้อง load ข้อมูลเข้า cluster และรองรับ Redshift Serverless สำหรับ workloads ที่ไม่สม่ำเสมอ

  • RA3 nodes: $0.25/node/hour (ra3.xlplus, 4 vCPUs, 32 GB RAM)
  • RA3.4xlarge: $3.26/node/hour (12 vCPUs, 96 GB RAM)
  • Redshift Serverless: $0.36/RPU-hour (Redshift Processing Unit)
  • Redshift Spectrum: $5/TB ของข้อมูลที่ scan จาก S3
  • Storage แยกจาก compute ใน RA3 nodes (ประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายมากกว่า)
