คืออะไร​

AWS Resource Groups & Tag Editor คือเครื่องมือที่ช่วยจัดกลุ่มและจัดการ AWS resources ด้วย tags ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ Resource Groups ช่วยสร้างกลุ่มของ resources ตาม tags หรือ CloudFormation stack เพื่อดูและ operate ได้เป็นกลุ่ม Tag Editor ช่วย add, edit, delete tags ในทุก regions และทุก resource types พร้อมกันในครั้งเดียว

เหมาะสำหรับ​

  • ทีมที่ต้องการ organize resources ตาม project, environment หรือ owner

Use Case ตัวอย่าง​

บริษัทมี EC2, RDS, Lambda หลายร้อยรายการ ต้องการรู้ว่า resources ไหนเป็นของ project ไหน ใช้ Tag Editor เพิ่ม tag "Project" และ "Environment" ให้ resources ทุกตัวพร้อมกัน จากนั้นสร้าง Resource Group ชื่อ "ProjectX-Production" สำหรับ filter resources ของ project นั้นโดยเฉพาะ ใช้ดู health, costs และ run automation ได้เป็น group
