คืออะไร​

Amazon FSx เป็นบริการ managed file system บน AWS ที่รองรับหลาย file system types สำหรับ workloads ที่แตกต่างกัน

FSx for Windows File Server​

  • รองรับ SMB protocol และ NTFS
  • รองรับ Microsoft Active Directory integration
  • รองรับ DFS Namespaces (group files across multiple FS)
  • ขยายได้ถึง หลายร้อย PB
  • เลือกได้: SSD (latency ต่ำ) หรือ HDD (ราคาถูก)
  • Multi-AZ สำหรับ High Availability
  • สำรองข้อมูลอัตโนมัติไปยัง S3

FSx for Lustre​

  • Parallel distributed file system สำหรับ HPC และ Machine Learning
  • ความเร็วสูงถึง หลายร้อย GB/s latency ต่ำกว่า sub-millisecond
  • เชื่อมต่อกับ S3 ได้อย่าง seamless (อ่าน S3 เป็น file system ได้)
  • Scratch — ที่เก็บชั่วคราว ไม่ replicate, burst ได้ 6 เท่า (สำหรับ short-term processing)
  • Persistent — replicate ภายใน AZ เดียว สำหรับ long-term storage

FSx for NetApp ONTAP​

  • รองรับ NFS, SMB, iSCSI protocols
  • Storage auto-grows อัตโนมัติ
  • Point-in-time cloning สำหรับ testing
  • ใช้ได้กับ Linux, Windows, macOS, VMware, ECS, EKS

FSx for OpenZFS​

  • รองรับ NFS protocol (v3, v4)
  • ความเร็วสูงถึง 1 ล้าน IOPS, latency < 0.5ms
  • Point-in-time cloning สำหรับ testing
  • เหมาะกับ workloads ที่ migrate จาก ZFS on-premises
